M. Elizabeth Reddeman

POYNETTE  -- M. Elizabeth Reddeman, age 98, of Poynette, died on Monday, February 8, 2010 at the Lodi Good Samaritan Center. 

Elizabeth was born on October 1, 1911, the daughter of John and Mabel (McQueen) Young.  She married Fredrick E. Reddeman on January 12, 1937.  Elizabeth loved to quilt and crochet.  She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Arlington, The Poynette-Arlington Women’s Club, The Garden Club, and Homemakers Club.

Elizabeth is survived by her son, John (Peggy) Reddeman, Poynette; her daughter-in-law, Barb Reddeman, Poynette; her grandchildren, Justin (Charlotte) Reddeman, Arlington, Amy (Erick) Kangas, Westfield, Robin Reddeman, Seattle, and Matthew (Staci) Reddeman, Poynette;  her great-grandchildren, Jacob, Elizabeth, Caleb, and Megan Reddeman, Kade and Kashton Kangas, and Katherine Reddeman; other relatives and many dear friends.  Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents,  her husband, Fredrick, and her son, Robert. 

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2010, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Arlington, with Rev. Marian Hendrickson officiating.  Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Friday, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the services, at the church.  The Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Poynette is assisting the family.
