Lawrence J. Wojak

 

PORTAGE  -- Lawrence J. Wojak, age 79, of Portage, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at his home.

Lawrence was born on August 24, 1930 in Milwaukee, the son of Nicholas and Barbara (Wracza) Wojak. He was married to Barbara Ulik, who preceded him in death in 1996.  Lawrence worked for Aerial Lift Mfg. for many years.

He is survived by his son, Stephan Wojak, Portage;  grandchildren, Adrien and Shannon;  their children, Holly, Damien, and Austin;  his brother, Chester Wojak, Milwaukee;  other near relatives and many close friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Barbara, and two sons, Dennis and Gregory.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, with Fr. Jim Murphy officiating.  Private entombment will be in Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield, Wisconsin.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage.
