Jesse L. Wenger

BARABOO  -  Jesse L. Wenger, age 33, of Portage, died on Wednesday, May 20,  2009 at the St. Clare Hospice House in Baraboo.

Memorial services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, 2009 at Grace Bible Church in Portage, with Rev. Steve Corbett officiating.  Visitation will be held from 2:00 until the time of the service on Sunday, May 31, 2009 at the church.  Inurnment will be private at the Hillside Cemetery in Poynette. 

Jesse was born on January 7, 1976 in Portage, the son of Terry Wenger and Jane Tomlinson Wenger.  He worked at Tony’s Restaurant in DeForest, and at K-Mart in Portage for over 5 years.  Jesse participated in Special Olympics.  He enjoyed Badger football games, bowling, and was a member of A.R.C.  Jesse loved spending time with his family and friends, he was a very social person, loving life and people.  He enjoyed watching wrestling, and was a number one Packer Fan. 

Jesse is survived by his parents, Terry (Vicky) Wenger, Poynette, Jane (Ronald) Beske, Portage, his Grandmother, Dorothy (Duane) Trager, Mazomanie, WI, a brother Shawn Wenger, Portage, a step-sister, Kelly (Ryan) Bendixen, Windsor, a step-brother, Dustin (Keli) Gradel, DeForest, his step-Grandmothers, Darlene Wenger, Lodi, and Florence Hughes, Poynette, a special Aunt and Uncle, Peggy and Richard Hughes, DeForest, other relatives and many friends.  He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Richard and Catherine Tomlinson, and Herman Wenger. 

The family would like to thank the staff of Infinite Ability and Hospice for their wonderful care of Jesse.
