Billie Rose Musson

PORTAGE  -- Billie Rose Musson, age 65, of Portage, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2009 at her home.

She was born on July 12, 1944 in Wichita, Texas.  Billie enjoyed sunny spring days, watching people and being surrounded by water and flowers.  Billie Rose has enjoyed being part of the Portage Community since her services at REM began in 2002.  A special thank you to the establishments that she enjoyed the most, Dino’s, Hitching Post, Culvers, and Tolley’s Alleys.  Billie Rose was a ray of sunshine to her caregivers when she would smile.  Her caring and compassionate caregivers and her roommate are going to miss Billie Rose’s presence greatly.

Billie is survived by her half-sister, Renee` Falkenstein, Pardeeville, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, with the Rev. David Hankins officiating.  Burial will follow in Silver Lake Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage.
