Lilly M. Schutz

POYNETTE – Lilly M. Schutz, age 97, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018. She was born in Leeds Township to Otto and Minnie (Krier) Manthe on November 23, 1920.

Lilly was united in marriage to Thomas W. Schutz on June 17, 1943. She was a member of Dekorra Lutheran Church. Lilly retired from Graber Manufacturing, Middleton. Mother enjoyed life the most when she and Dad were on the dance floor. She also enjoyed watching the Brewers and playing Euchre.

Lilly is survived by her sons, Jerry (Karla) Schutz and Ralph (Marilyn) Schutz; daughters, Ardis (Rick) Dolajeck and Susan Prieve; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; special cousin, Madge Price; and nephew, Don McNicol. Lilly was predeceased by her parents; sister, Frances McNicol; husband, Thomas on December 14, 1973; and son-in-law, Gerald Prieve on June 3, 1988.

Funeral services will be held at Dekorra Lutheran Church, N3099 Smith Road, Poynette, Wisconsin, on Monday, October 8, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Michael Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

The family would like to thank the staff at Columbia Health Care Center, especially the caretakers in Willow Court.
