Doris “Bobbi” R. Kutz

LEEDS TOWNSHIP – Doris “Bobbi” R. Kutz, age 69, of Leeds Township, passed away peacefully at Columbia County Health Care Center in Wyocena on January 9, 2018.

Bobbi was born on January 13, 1948, in Marshall, WI, the daughter of Ervin and Bertha (Franks) Duessler. She married Harlan Kutz on July 11, 1981, in Portage. She worked for Electronic Data Systems in Madison and the United Coop in North Leeds. Bobbi enjoyed making trips to Ho Chunk and loved to crochet and knit.

She is survived by her husband, Harlan Kutz of Leeds Township; children, Jerry Absher of Arlington, Tammy Wenger of DeForest; step-children, Mike Kutz of Winchester, Dan Kutz of Waupun, Keli Linde (Pete) of Windsor, Richard Kutz of Poynette, Kim Acosta of Hayward; grandchildren, Jessica and Brandon Wenger; Shawna Andrews, Jennifer Doherty, Josie and Austin Linde, Jacob, Patrick, Holly, Kayla, Dawson and Hunter Kutz, Animiki and Miskwagizhig Hall; sisters, Judy (Dave) Bock, Nancy Bowe, Julie Schmoldt; brother, John Duessler; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Dan Absher and step-daughter, Wendy McKee.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Faustina Parish in Pardeeville with Fr. Marcin Kordel presiding. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in North Leeds Township. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
