Darlene (Dumke) Krause

PORTAGE - Darlene (Dumke) Krause, 81, of Portage, passed away at Divine Savior Hospital on Tuesday, May 29, 2018.

A native of Portage, Darlene was born on March 25, 1937, the daughter of Willis and Gladys (Schwantz) Dumke. She married John Krause on November 24, 1956, in Milwaukee. Darlene was a dedicated volunteer at the Columbia County Humane Society.

She is survived by her children, Dawn (Tom) Urban, Milwaukee, Jim S. (Debbie) Krause, Portage, Richard A. Krause, Portage; grandchildren, Michelle, Travis, Nicholas, Tyler and Ryan; great-granddaughters, Michala and Cassidy; sister, Sharlene Marsh, New London; aunt, Elaine Hatz, Portage; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, John.

Per Darlene’s wishes, there will be no service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Portage Presbyterian Church, Columbia County Humane Society or the charity of your choice.
