Peggy A. Alf

ENDEAVOR – Peggy A. Alf, 70, passed away peacefully at her home in Endeavor on Friday, June 15, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.

Peggy was born on September 19, 1947, in Portage, the daughter of Marvin and Florence (Jahnke) Krueger. On May 21, 1977, Peggy and Jim Alf were united in marriage in Portage. For 35 years, Peggy worked for the Portage School District in various capacities. She was an avid golfer, ball player, bowler and crafter.

She is survived by her husband, Jim; children, Ed (Kelli) Alf of Sullivan, Emily (Chad) Will of Waukesha; grandchildren, Olivia, Colette and Anneke Alf, Parker Will, and expected grandchild; brother, Larry (Linda) Krueger of Endeavor; sister, Penny (Chuck) Judd of Poynette; lovable cats, Pudge and Smudge; nieces, nephews, other close relatives and many, many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.  

Funeral services will be held at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, Wisconsin, on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Larry Sheppard officiating. Inurnment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Endeavor at a later date. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on June 20, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
