Shannon Lynn Solterman

PORTAGE  --  Shannon Lynn Solterman, age 50, died on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at UW Hospital in Madison.

Shannon was born on November 23, 1963, in Azusa, CA, the daughter of Charles and Lois (McKay) Solterman.    

She is survived by her children, Cori (Adam) Denman, Beaver Dam, and Aaron Solterman, Pardeeville; her grandchildren, A.J. and Aubrie Denman; her siblings, Michael Shaun (Kathy) Solterman, Pardeeville, Patrick Shamus (Linda), Solterman, Pardeeville, Kathleen Michele Meixner, Portage, Shelley June (Rudy) Victoria, Pleasant Prairie, Kevin Scott (Sandy) Solterman, Montello, Jody Sean (Debbie) Solterman, Portage, Norah Lee (Mike) Brusich, Joliet, IL, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.  Shannon was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Rory Brian Solterman, and Timothy Todd Solterman.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage with her brother, Patrick Solterman officiating.  Burial will follow in U.P. Cemetery, Township of Buffalo, Marquette County.  Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established by the family.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the T.L.C. and Palliative Care units, at UW Hospital for their excellent care.  They would also like to extend a special thanks to Norah and Shelley for their loving kindness and long hours. 

We love you and will miss you Shannon.  God’s angels are with you.
