Kenneth H. Milton

WYOCENA  --  Kenneth H. Milton, age 63, died on Friday, August 22, 2014 at Columbia Healthcare Center in Wyocena.    

Kenneth was born on September 21, 1950, in Portage, the son of Harold and Carol (Hilliard) Milton, Jr. He worked for many years as an independent contractor for various telephone companies.  

He is survived by his wife, Betty Alford, of the state of Oregon; his children, Scott, Mike and Casey; his step-children, Melissa and Bob; several grandchildren; his sister, Margie (George) Thornton, of Portage; two nieces, Kimberly Messer, and Jackie (Brandon) Ashbrook, both of Portage, other relatives and close friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Carol, his step-father, Earl Kotek, and his nephew, Kevin Thornton.  

Memorial services will be held at1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, with Rev. David Hankins officiating.  Inurnment will follow in Moundville Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
