Justin T. Lentz

SUN PRAIRIE/PORTAGE --  Justin T. Lentz, age 32, of Sun Prairie, died on Saturday, February 15, 2014 as the result of a skiing accident in Twin Lakes, Colorado.

Justin was born on August 7, 1981 in Portage, the son of Robert and Connie (Heitke) Lentz.  He graduated from Portage High School in 2000.  He had worked at Staff Electric in Madison since 2005.  Justin loved skiing, snowboarding, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and making his weekends better than everyone else’s year.                 

He is survived by his parents, Bob and Connie Lentz, Portage;  his fiancé, Erin Watson, Portage/Sun Prairie;  their two idiot dogs, Hurley Wisco and Kix;  his brother, Chad (Tiffany) Lentz, Viroqua;  his sister, Keana Lentz, Portage;  his grandparents, Harold “Bubs” and Donna “Omi” Heitke, Portage, Robert and Diane Lentz, Portage;  his aunts and uncles, Brenda (Jim  Pace) Lentz, Portage, Tim (Lisa) Lentz, Miami, FL, Jayson (Jolene) Lentz, Portage, Todd Moan, Portage, Terry (Keith) Russell, Cottage Grove, and Craig (Lisa) Heitke, Keyeser.  He is further survived by his niece, Brielle, cousins, and many dear friends.  Justin was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Charlie and Jane Monroe, Clarence and Lena Lentz, William and Clara Heitke, and Connie and Ella Simonson.

A memorial visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage.
